Things that go bump in the belly

After a low-key New Year holiday Aurelia and I have been pretty busy with work and baby related activities. We spent a good deal of yesterday visiting furniture stores and Babies R Us in prep for the little explorer that's on the way. She's been very active and is reported to kick at all sorts of inopportune moments (like when Aurelia's trying to fall asleep) and in inopportune places (like Aurelia's bladder). We decided that we needed to do a little documentation of the little one's impact on Aurelia. The bump riseth!

Arizona for the Holidays-Part Deux

After enjoying a few days in the Tucsonic sun the clan motored north to Flagstaff for a few days at altitude. I had forgotten what 7000 feet does to one's ability to climb stairs, carry luggage, and tear wrapping paper. Despite the rare atmosphere we enjoyed some fine spirits and food (prosecco and gumbo to be specific) and opened a few gifts.
